My name is Rachel, and I have a lifelong passion and love for cats.
For the past year I have been volunteering for the Cats Protection branch in Plymouth.
Having run my own cleaning business for over 13 years, I have now decided to turn my love of cats into a rewarding business - the result is the luxury accommodation that is Cosy Kittys Cattery.
As the proud cat mum of many cats myself over the years, I know how important it is to have peace of mind while you're away from home. I offer top quality care and attention for your precious cat and will treat them like one of my own.

We left our cat D'Arcy at Cosy Kittys during our recent holiday to Lanzarote. I am not sure where to start....excellent care for our cat and nothing is too much trouble for Rachel the "cat lady of Plymouth". Rachel sent regular updates and pictures of D'Arcy while we were away. I would thoroughly recommend Cosy Kittys, the cats are well looked after and I believe loved by Rachel. Excellent business well managed by a lady with a genuine care for the cats...

Left our Georgia here - a shy rescue. Rachel was a brilliant nice person, kind and caring, and Georgia was quite at home. Her large pen had lots of toys, yummy treats and affection, and she came away with a goody bag and tunnel that she liked. Well recommended, 10 out of 10.

I am so happy I have found this Cattery. I absolutely hate leaving my cat but when it’s necessary the most important thing is that she is well looked after. I am so impressed, the pens are neat, tidy and have everything a cat could wish for, I’ve had updates that put my mind to rest too.

We couldn’t be happier with the care our cat Winston received at Cosy Kitty’s! Rachel is so genuine, caring, and friendly - it’s clear she absolutely loves what she does. Winston was thoroughly spoilt and doted on during his four night stay, and we had complete peace of mind knowing he was in such kind and capable hands. Rachel’s communication was excellent, and we really appreciated the lovely picture updates she sent us while we were away - it was so reassuring to see Winston looking relaxed and happy. His pen was clean, calm, and truly lived up to its name: cosy! We’ll definitely be booking with Rachel again and can’t thank her enough for taking such good care of our Winston.

I wouldn’t leave Goldy with anyone else! I would highly recommend to anyone that needs someone to look after their fur babies. The attention to detail Rachel has provided is amazing and the love she has for cats and my little Goldy was so reassuring - she treats them all like they’re her own babies.

I was so nervous about leaving our fur baby whilst we went away as we had never left her before. Then we met Rachel, who put my mind at rest. Rachel showed us around the pens where kit-kat (our fur baby) was going to be staying. These are spacious with lots of things for the cats to do. Rachel provides all the food for your cat during their stay.
We were sent photos and videos of kit-kat on a daily basis. The cats are given loads of attention and are very well cared for, it is very much like your cat will also be on holiday. I can't thank Rachel enough for the level of care she provided. Kit-kat was also sent home with a lovely gift bag of goodies. I will definitely be using Rachel and Cosy Kittys again for our next holiday.

My odd little Tortie had the best care here while I was away for a week. Rachel treats her cat guests like royalty! She's a proper cat person and gives real individualised attention to every puss and their owners. Plus really helpful advice if needed. Very highly recommended.

Best experience I could’ve asked for! Rachel was so understanding with my anxiety/worry about leaving my cat while me and my partner went away and she sent us constant updates (photos, videos & even a FaceTime call)! On top of all the reassurance she gave us a little goody bag to take home along with toys, a cat tunnel she loved & a little goody bag for our new kitten she knew we were picking up post holiday. Will honestly never go anywhere else, 1000% recommend to everyone! Thank you so much again Rachel, Kiki is missing you already.

I have used various catteries for more than 40 years and I can honestly say this is the best cattery I have experienced. My 2 cats have just spent a fortnight with Rachel and it’s obvious that they have been happy and very well cared for. They shared a pen which was very spacious and immaculate and I received numerous photos and videos of them while I was away. One of my cats had been very seriously ill and is now on a permanent special diet but that was no problem for Rachel. She is, like me, passionate about cats. I am delighted to have found this cattery - it means I can go on holiday in the knowledge that my darling fur babies are in the best of care.

We needed somewhere to place our cat for a weekend, and my wife found this place and made contact with Rachel. It was a very good decision. The cat lodgings are purpose built and ideal, giving each cat a roomy cosy unit in which to investigate and play, sleep, and do what cats do.
When we picked our cat up, it was clear she had been well looked after, and Rachel had taken a shine to her. We were even given a goody bag to go home with. We can highly recommend Cosy Kittys. We will definitely use the service again should we need to lodge the cat. Thank you, Rachel.

My nearly 17 year old lady Jess has had 2 stays with the wonderful Rachel at Cosy Kittys. Due to her old age, Jess is on medication and needs special care, both of which Rachel has been so loving and caring with, nothing is too much of a problem for her and I am beyond grateful for the attention and care she has given Jess during her stay. I wouldn't take her anywhere else and would recommend Rachel and Cosy Kittys to all other cat owners!

Rachel is absolutely brilliant. She looked after our 2 cats for a week, one is very anxious and has had bladder problems so we were a bit worried about how he would be away from home. Rachel's calm loving approach meant they both settled in really well and she gave us regular informative updates which was so helpful. Highly recommend and we have already booked them in again.

Rachel was Absolutely splendid with my fur babies. She made sure to send me updates everyday with pictures and even a couple of video calls to put me ease. she takes the time to give each pen individual attention and there are well monitored in case of any emergency. I felt completely safe and at ease especially since knowing she lives on site whether the pen is that even Overnight if they needed her she was much better than some of the larger places in which don’t necessarily stay with the animals overnight. The pens were well decked out not only in furniture and toys but also with cameras and windows with a safety lock so that they couldn’t open far enough for any escape attempts.Rachel has strict protocols keeping each pen very safe also, with having such few pens you could see the benefits in the amount of time Rachel was dedicating to all of the cats, even though she was fully booked. She also shows so much love for each cat and even checked in on my boys home she was very thorough in their cleaning and brushing and following their feeding routines. I would definitely leave my cats with her again. She is amazing.

Rachel has just cared for my cats for 2 weeks. One of them is a handrear,who due to our close bond I was anxious about leaving. I needn't of worried. Rachel took on board all my instructions & cared for her as if she was her own. I received pictures,videos & updates ever day. Rachel spent time with them playing, talking, cuddling & brushing them frequently every day.
The cattery is beautiful,with a range of toys & furniture in each pen.
I can not recommend Rachel highly enough.

Went to view the place before deciding that it was perfect for my cat. OhMyDays Rachel is so lovely and treats them soo well. Will definitely be using her for my catty again. Catty came home soo happy and the updates of photos whilst on holidays was amazing. It was very reassuring that she was being looked after soo well.

We've just picked up Margo up after a 5 day stay and can honestly say it's felt like a family member looked after her. Rachel is amazing and has kept us up to date all holiday with photos and videos so I could just relax and know that Margo is being well looked after and spoilt. I booked my cat in for a two night stay whilst we moved house. Rachel was amazing with him spending time with him and keeping me updated with how he was as he can overgroom due to nerves. She also sent photos to us so I could reassure my son that his cat was happy and well. Super friendly service, really helpful advice, excellent facilities for our beloved feline overlord. We will be coming back anytime we need someone to look after him.

**Outstanding Cattery Experience!**
I recently had the pleasure of using Cosy Kittys for my boy Bear and I can confidently say it was the best experience I could have hoped for! From the moment I arrived, it was clear that this cattery is a labour of love, with genuine care and passion for every cat in its care.
The facilities are top-notch, and I appreciated the security of and video cameras in the pens. The regular updates, complete with photos and video clips, provided me with peace of mind and made me feel connected to my cat even while I was away. It was such a joy to see how happy and comfortable my pet was during his stay.
Rachel’s dedication to ensuring each cat receives individualised attention and care is truly commendable. I could tell that my cat was not just another guest; he was treated like family.

Incredible!! Rachel at Cosy Kittys looked after my 2 cats for 4 days. She went above and beyond for them both, new toys, quality food and outstanding care. The cattery is very spacious, clean and safe. I had daily photos and videos of the cats which was very comforting. Rachel clearly has a huge amount of knowledge and love for cats, I'd give her 10 stars if I could!

Amazing service. Looked after one of my 'special' fur babies for 2 nights whilst we had house viewings going on. Rachel looks after them like her own. She's as cat mad as me and it's so comforting knowing my fur child will be loved and looked after in a super lovely cattery (more like a palace) and it's cleaned properly in-between as well as during. All dietary requirements were listened too as well. Couldn't recommend enough! 10 star worthy!! You can clearly see how much Rachel loves cats and her cattery! Wouldn't use anyone else!

If I could give more than 5 stars I would! I am a new cat owner and I went on holiday for the first time since bringing my girl home in December! I was so nervous to leave her but I booked my little fur baby into Cosy Kittys after recommendation from the shelter I adopted her from! Rachel instantly took my worries away, reassured me all the way from my first contact all the way up to the day I dropped her off! I felt instant relief when she opened the door with a big smile and hug! Rachel provided regular updates, photos, videos, spoiled my girl with treats and made me feel so at ease so I could enjoy my holiday! The cattery is so lovely, each cat has their private room, bed, toys and although it’s not the same as them being at home, I couldn’t imagine anywhere that would take better care of your babies! I would recommend Cosy Kittys to any cat owner in Plymouth, thank you for putting my mind at ease and taking such good care of my baby girl!
